The Gedye Bin is made in Australia from 100% recycled plastic. According to Tumbleweed, over 50% of household waste and 30% of all the waste we discard is organic and can be recycled into a rich fertiliser and used to feed the earth.

Without recycling, expense is passed onto council as their resources are used to collect the waste and drop it into landfill, where it becomes harmful to the environment.

Reducing this environmental impact is one of the Federal Government’s initiatives to halve Australia’s food waste by 2030.

The shape of the bin has been designed to increase surface area and provide a larger space for the sun to heap up the bin to improve composting.

To begin composting, all you need to do is load the bin and replace the lid, then turn your compost regularly with a Tumbleweed Aerator or Compost Mate to speed decomposition.

The sturdy yet light-weight bin is easy to move around your garden.
