Most varieties can be sown from summer to autumn or early winter so you still have a few of weeks to get them in.
Give them a position in full sun, but provide them with afternoon shade in hot climates.
They take 16 weeks to flower so you’ll be enjoying their friendly faces in spring if you sow seeds now. For instant colour, seedlings are the way to go.
Pick flowers regularly to encourge more blooms and feed monthly with a soluble complete plant food.
