Handyman reader Pete Watson envisioned a water feature with a sheer descent overflow and planter boxes.
‘I built a single-skinned wall where water cascades down stacked stone to fill a pond,’ says Pete.
‘It overflows onto river stones and disappears beneath the ground into a well where it’s pumped back to the top.’
Pete designed the water feature so the water cascades into the upper pond then pours onto the stones and is reticulated back to the top
