Handyman’s First Ever Issue
Today’s our first Flashback Friday. Having trawled through our archives right back to the very beginning, we found the very first Handyman cover and thought we’d share this fine piece of our history.
In June 2001 we burst into newsagents and hardware stores near you for just $5.95. Boasting $130 worth of coupons, the first-ever cover story the Handyman team brought you was a stone and brick courtyard build.
Things have changed a fair bit since those early days but our passion for DIY and our mission to share projects and handy tips with you has endured. For 14 years we’ve proudly been helping DIYers get the job done right.
Let us know on Facebook if you remember reading our first issue. We’d love to know if you still have it too!
