In a world where we can have it all, a homemade gift is as precious as it is priceless. A Dremel rotary tool enables sanding, engraving, carving, grinding, cutting, drilling, sharpening, cleaning and polishing. It is a must-have in every DIY’er toolbox, but if you are still having a hard time picturing the projects you could make with Dremel, check out some of these ideas. Using the right equipment, with the right settings is key to a successful execution, and we will show you how.
Glass Etching
Glass engraving is a beautiful way to turn an everyday object into something to marvel at. Choose your design and sticky tape it to the inside of the glass. Then simply use your Dremel rotary tool to trace the outline. Always start at a lower speed, to get a feel for the tool, and material you are working on.
