Kristen’s Kitchen Renovation For Profit
Handyman reader Kristen Rayward and her partner decided property was the safest investment they could make for their future, so they chose to purchase, renovate and sell a property each year.
When they bought their second property they had four weeks to make sure it was livable. They gutted the bathroom and kitchen, tore up and replaced carpets, and painted the entire house on weekends and weeknights after work.
Everyone loves the new kitchen, which is now white with stainless-steel handles and appliances to match. We chose a black granite benchtop to complete the modern makeover.
Kristen and her partner gutted the kitchen, polished floorboards, installed light fittings and repainted
The kitchen installation was difficult as the original framework and floors weren’t square
